Pringles Ag Plus Continues its Commitment to Farming

Behind the name Pringles Ag Plus is a bloke who started his working life as a shearer in Western Australia. Jim Pringle married Shirley, a local Wudinna girl, in 1956 when machines were smaller and farming was nowhere near as sophisticated as it is today. Pringles Garage started in 1961 as a one-stop shop servicing farmers in the local region. Jim recognised an opportunity and took on selling big agricultural machinery under an internationally franchised brand. Focusing on customer service, the business built strong, lasting relationships and today, is the largest John Deere dealership on the Eyre Peninsula with bases at Wudinna, Cleve, Kimba and Cummins. Company directors Rick Du Bois, Craig Walker and Harry Redding took over the reins in the mid 90s when Jim and Shirley retired and renamed it Pringles Ag Plus in 1999. While a lot may have changed in 50 years, the company’s principles of delivering the best farming solutions supported by customer service continues to be their number one focus.
